Its round shape allows it float slowly through the air just like a UFO.
Paper Airplane Folding Instructions
1. Fold the paper in half. Cut out the bottom corner to round it off as shown, the unfold.
2. Fold the top corners to the center line.
3. Fold the top point down 2 inches (5cm) before the bottom edge.
4. Fold down the top two corners about half way down each diagonal crease.
5. Now, fold the top edge down about one inch (2.5cm).
6. Fold the paper airplane in half towards you.
7. Finally, fold the sides out to create the long round wings. The body should be 1/2 an inch tall (13mm).
This paper airplane design likes to float slowly in large circles instead of flying straight. It has stiff wings, so feel free to throw it as hard as you want. By gently bending the trailing wing tips up you can get this airplane to do a loop-de-loop or even flip over and boomerang back to you. Experiment to get different acrobatic tricks. For more level flight, add a paperclip to the front to improve weight balance.
